BusinessWest Recognizes Jackie Charron in Women of Impact 2026 Program

Greenfield Cooperative Bank is pleased to announce that Jackie Charron, EVP – Chief Banking Officer, has been recognized as a 2026 Woman of Impact by BusinessWest. Now in its ninth year, the Women of Impact program honors women who have the authority and power to move the needle in their business, are respected for accomplishments within their industries, give back to the community, and are sought out as respected advisors and mentors within their field of influence.

With over 40 years of banking expertise, Charron is a visionary leader and a dedicated advocate for the Western Massachusetts community. She has built a career defined by both industry-shifting innovation and deep-rooted philanthropy. She was a founding partner of Walden Mutual Bank—the first mutual bank established in the U.S. in 50 years—and was instrumental in launching the digital bank Zynlo, proving her ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while pioneering modern financial solutions.

Since joining the Co-op in 2024, Charron has bridged the gap between professional strategy and community service. She formalized the bank’s employee volunteer program and implemented “Networking for Good” events to connect local organizations with vital resources. From serving meals at Stone Soup Café to providing financial literacy tools for local families, her “friend-raising” approach ensures that banking is a force for good. As a trusted mentor and board member for organizations like Girls Inc. of the Valley, she remains committed to fostering a workplace culture and a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

“Jackie is incredibly deserving of this recognition, and I couldn’t be prouder to see her named among BusinessWest’s Women of Impact,” said Tony Worden, President & CEO of Greenfield Cooperative Bank. “Jackie brings so much to the Co-op through her leadership, dedication to our community, and the care she shows for people around her. This recognition is a true reflection of the kind of leader Jackie is, and we’re so fortunate to have her on the team.”
